The agave used to craft Grand Mayan Extra Aged is slowly cooked in traditional stone and brick ovens, slowly fermented, then twice distilled in copper lined stills. It is then rested in ex-bourbon and ex-cognac barrels for a minimum of 3 years up to 5 years. Each batch is masterfully blended, perfectly smooth with a layered, long finish.
Aged for a minimum of 5 years, Grand Mayan Ultra Aged Limited Release Tequila is crafted using our finest hand selected Central-Highland Blue Weber Agave. Slow cooked in traditional Brick and Stone overs, extended fermentation, then twice distilled in Copper Pot Stills, this exceptional Tequila is then rested in both American oak casks and French ex-cognac barrels.
Grand Mayan is presented in beautiful, artisanal, ceramic Talavera bottles hand-decorated by local Mexican artists.
